DL The Fireman's Boigraphy

Dan Lehoux AKA "DL The Fireman" was born July 27, 1982, Dartmouth N.S, He grew up listening to mostly heavy Rock & Roll suck as Guns n Roses, Metallica, AC DC, Janis to name a few. He first became hooked to Rap / Hip Hop at the age of 10 when he was introduced to LL Cool J's (I Need Love) He later widened his range by listening to Cypress hill and the Fu Gees and the Wu Tang Clan, Snoop Dogg, and Dr Dre and the Goodie Mob 2Pac, Biggie and many more. He continued to perfect his craft by learning how to freestyle.

The name DL The fireman was given to him by an on looker at one of his recording sessions where he was recording a track with a couple other starving artists. As he came out of the booth, one of the other guys said "WOW, that's FIRE man, that's FIRE!" so DL for Dan Lehoux the fireman was born!

He tried working with a couple producers but things didn't seem to be moving ahead as he would have liked so he decided to give up on trying to make a name for himself until one day Garreth Warren a Reggae artist / Producer out of Halifax contacted him to work together. After going to his studio and seeing that Garreth was serious about working with him and trying to get his music produced and released, DL quickly jumped on the chance to sign with this new label. Stahmenah Records. DL has just released the first 6 tracks from his debut album "No Longer On The DL" worldwide online. The entire process was produced entirely by Garreth at Stahmenah Records.
